Hello & Welcome!

Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to take a look at our new website, I am sure a few changes will be made along the way and shop products will be added in the near future. We are a smallholding just on the outskirts of the Durham Dales, we specialise in breeding and rearing, native, rare breed, pedigree Oxford Sandy and Black pigs and currently we are the only breeders in the County Durham area. We currently have four sows, a Clarrisa and Lady Bloodline, plus an older non pedigree lady and her crossbreed daughter. We also have two boars Alistair and Jack bloodlines. We also breed and rear pedigree native Coloured Ryeland sheep and have a flock of 25 currently. We have a number of poultry including, Norfolk Black Turkeys, Shetland and Runner ducks and Buff Orpington, Cream Legbar and Rhode Island Red Hens. We look forward to introducing you to the animals through this blog and also give an idea of what it is like to run a smallholding all year round, the good the bad and the ugly.. Well mainly the good!
